About Me
I am a java application developer working on mainly e-commerce applications.
From 1982-2005 I worked for the BBC, in radio and television operations and operational and project management. Prior to the sale of BBC Broadcast in 2005, I decided I wanted to follow a different path and spent a year gaining a MSc in Computer Science at University College London. I then spent a few months working unpaid to develop a record keeping and data sharing application for the charity NCH (National Children's Homes). This application is used by social work, health service and police staff to merge data on children who have been at serious risk of harm.
In 2007 I joined Fresca (now BT Fresca) to develop e-commerce applications for a number of well known brands, including Coast, Warehouse, Matalan, Snow & Rock and Cycle Surgery working from our new offices close to my home in Buckinghamshire.
